Event Description
The Basic Fire Fighting course at Waco Training Academy provides participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to understand fire risks, respond safely to fire emergencies, and confidently use basic fire-fighting equipment.
This training is designed to build fire awareness and develop competence in initial fire response techniques that help protect life and property in the workplace.
Throughout the course, learners will explore fire science fundamentals, common causes of workplace fires, fire prevention strategies, and the correct use of various fire extinguishers and suppression systems.
Practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises form a key part of the training, enabling delegates to apply their skills in controlled scenarios under expert supervision.
This programme is ideal for employees, safety representatives, fire teams, and anyone who may be required to respond to fire incidents as part of their duties.
Upon successful completion, participants will be better prepared to recognise fire hazards, take appropriate preventative action, and respond calmly and effectively in fire-related situations.

Payment must be received before course date is booked maximum 15 learners per class with exception of Rope access.
All Public course training will take place at Waco Training Acadamy 181 Barbara Road Elandsfontein premises.
Waco Training Academy holds right of admission- All learners entering the premises will be responsible for their own belongings.
All working at heights and Scaffold related course require safety boots
