Event Description
The Confined Space Entry course at Waco Training Academy is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and practical skills for safely working in and around confined spaces.
This training focuses on understanding the hazards associated with confined space environments, applying recognised entry procedures, and using appropriate safety equipment to protect personnel and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Throughout the course, learners will explore critical topics including hazard identification, atmospheric testing and monitoring, permit systems, ventilation methods, rescue planning, and emergency response procedures.
Emphasis is placed on safe work practices, risk assessment, and the correct use of personal protective equipment, empowering participants to manage confined space tasks effectively and confidently.
This programme is ideal for employees, supervisors, safety representatives, and anyone required to enter, support, or oversee work in confined spaces.
Upon successful completion, participants will be better prepared to recognise confined space risks, implement control measures, and contribute to safer confined space operations in their workplace.

Payment must be received before course date is booked maximum 15 learners per class with exception of Rope access.
All Public course training will take place at Waco Training Acadamy 181 Barbara Road Elandsfontein premises.
Waco Training Academy holds right of admission- All learners entering the premises will be responsible for their own belongings.
All working at heights and Scaffold related course require safety boots
