Event Description
The Ladder User – Up to 9 m course at Waco Training Academy provides essential instruction on the safe selection, inspection, and use of portable ladders up to 9 metres in height.
This training equips participants with the practical knowledge and best practices needed to work confidently and safely when tasks require ladder access, helping to reduce fall-related incidents and improve workplace safety.
Throughout the course, learners will focus on key topics including hazard identification, appropriate ladder selection, correct setup and positioning, safe climbing technique, and compliance with relevant safety standards.
Practical guidance and hands-on exercises reinforce core principles to ensure participants can apply what they have learned in real-world environments.
This programme is ideal for employees, supervisors, maintenance personnel, and anyone whose job involves working on or around ladders.

Payment must be received before course date is booked maximum 15 learners per class with exception of Rope access.
All Public course training will take place at Waco Training Acadamy 181 Barbara Road Elandsfontein premises.
Waco Training Academy holds right of admission- All learners entering the premises will be responsible for their own belongings.
All working at heights and Scaffold related course require safety boots
