Event Description
The Scaffolding Hand course at Waco Training Academy provides essential practical knowledge and foundational skills for individuals entering the scaffolding and access industry.
This one-day training is designed for general workers who require a solid understanding of the safe selection of personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as the correct procedures for erecting and dismantling basic scaffolding structures up to 2 m in height.
Participants will learn the core responsibilities and safe work practices associated with supporting scaffold operations, enabling them to contribute effectively to team tasks on site.
The programme places strong emphasis on safety awareness, hazard recognition, and compliance with relevant workplace standards.
This course is ideal for individuals beginning their career in scaffolding or access work, or those who require competency in basic scaffold hand skills as part of their job function.
On successful completion, delegates will be better equipped to work confidently and safely within scaffolding teams and support more advanced scaffold training pathways.

Payment must be received before course date is booked maximum 15 learners per class with exception of Rope access.
All Public course training will take place at Waco Training Acadamy 181 Barbara Road Elandsfontein premises.
Waco Training Academy holds right of admission- All learners entering the premises will be responsible for their own belongings.
