Event Description
The Working at Heights course at Waco Training Academy is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to safely perform tasks at elevated work areas in compliance with statutory requirements.
This training focuses on hazard recognition, risk control measures, and safe work practices relevant to working at heights, helping to prevent falls and related injuries in the workplace.
Throughout the programme, learners will explore key concepts such as fall prevention strategies, the proper selection and use of fall protection equipment, anchorage systems, and rescue procedures.
The course equips delegates with the confidence and competence to work safely at height, understand regulatory obligations, and contribute to a safer working environment.
This training is ideal for employees, supervisors, site personnel, and anyone whose job requires them to perform work above ground level.
Upon successful completion, participants will be better prepared to recognise height-related hazards and implement appropriate safety measures in their workplace.

All Public course dates 2026:
Payment must be received before course date is booked maximum 15 learners per class with exception of Rope access.
All Public course training will take place at Waco Training Acadamy 181 Barbara Road Elandsfontein premises.
Waco Training Academy holds right of admission- All learners entering the premises will be responsible for their own belongings.
All working at heights and Scaffold related course require safety boots
